6th and Final Coordination meeting in Cyprus
The SCIENT project held its 6th and final coordination meeting at the European University Cyprus in Nicosia - Cyprus on the 13th of September 2017. The meeting took place at the time while which the 34 participants who came in Cyprus for the SCIENT Entrepreneurship Academy were practicing their pitching.
The meeting was attended by 23 participants and was a great opportunity for all partners involved to get informed regarding the final steps that need to take place before the conclusion of the SCIENT project. The meeting started at 11:20 with a welcoming speech by the project coordinator, Prof. Mario Raposo from UBI in Portugal, which was followed by a welcoming speech by Dr. Celia Hadjichristodoulou on behalf of the organisers in Cyprus. Mrs. Nihal YILDIRIM, our EU Officer from EACEA attended the 6th coordination meeting and informed the SCIENT consortium of partners about the Interim Evaluation Report, the Final Evaluation Report which will take place after the end of the project and also informed them about the follow-up outcomes and all relevant issues.
Mr. Alexander Krauss from ISOB, Germany presented the Internal and External Evaluation and Quality Assurance results for SCIENT project, and then great emphasis was given in the organisation of Entrepreneurship Academy and Business Competition day emphasising the role and responsibilities of each partner.
Furthermore, the consortium of partners discussed in detail the completed deliverables and the remaining deliverables with relevant time frameworks in order for partners to be able to organise their work. Great emphasis was given also on the organisation of the Final Dissemination events in each country, on the dissemination activities in each country, and on the finalisation of the training package and the development of the relevant online platform.
Just before the end of the meeting, partners had the opportunity to discuss the commercialisation strategy that could be followed for the SCIENT Training Package and the contribution of each partner.
The final coordination meeting was a really fruitful meeting for all partners involved giving them the opportunity to discuss and organise the following steps until the successful conclusion of SCIENT programme.
